Darla DeVine is a darling of the impressive Vancouver Burlesque scene, and has been for over 4 years. Darla started performing at a very young age as a trained dancer, however it was at the age of 18 that she began Pin Up and Fetish modeling which eventually led her to discover her favorite form of performance, Burlesque. It was at the Fluffgirls 2004 "Dare to Bare" audition show that Darla, delighted the crowd with her debut performance and was asked to join the well known troupe on their first International Tour. Thanking her lucky rhinestones... Darla whipped up a couple more trademark acts, stuffed her suitcases with copious amounts of feather fans and stockings, and hit the road for three jam packed months, tassling across North America and then to Europe.

Returning home, Darla shimmied solo until nestling into the open wings of Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society; Co-creators of Vancouver International Burlesque Festival and creators of Vancouver's first School of Burlesque. She is now one of their longest running cast members, Becoming Burlesque Guest Teacher, member of the Board of Directors and has appeared in numerous notable productions of theirs such as their yearly presentation of "Ed Woods Orgy of the Dead LIVE!", History of Burlesque, B-Movies, and their 2006 Fringe Festival debut and original production: "Sex, Violence and Nursery Rhymes". Although Darla calls Screaming Chicken/Taboo Revue "home", she continues to have a hustling bustling solo career entertaining at local events, Fundraisers and in guest performances with other troupes such as Stilettos and Strap-Ons, SweetSoul Burlesque, Cross'd Lovers , and is honored to occasionally indulge in some Voodoo with Big John Bates and the Voodoo Dollz. She gladly joined them in 2006 on their Western Canada and European tours. Some other notable events that Darla has curated her curves at are: Taboo - The Naughty But Nice Sex Show, Sin City 5 year Anniversary Party, Big John Bates First Annual Voodoo Ball, The Fringe Festival, and The Vancouver International Burlesque Festival.

Darla is primarily a traditional Strip-teaser and blossoming chanteuse with a spellbinding smile and vampy, yet energetic presence that will knock more than your socks off! Her hand-crafted costumes, pasties and head pieces are as scintillating and seductive as she is and her precocious curves are rivaled by no other. Darla's adventures through the ups and down, ins and outs, bumps and grinds of Burlesque have crafted her into a practiced and proficient performer, prepared her with the tricks of the tease, and stacked her up with numerous acts for every season, theme and occasion.
